Wedding Bands for kindred spirits
18ct PD White Gold. 2011.
The most important commission I have undertaken to date was my brother's wedding bands.
My brother, Theo, and his partner, Elsa, came with a few ideas of liking a wrapped, handmade stylised concept - and with that, I have designed 2 rings individual in wrapping aesthetic, but akin in ethos.

Two soulmates, with love never ending, always together.
18ct PD White Gold. 2010.
It is a special treat for me to make jewellery for people i care about and to create this band for one of my friend's partner was an honour.
This is Travers' design he came to me with and with such a passion of German design and minimalism, it is well suited to its wearer.

When 2 become 1,
became complete ...2010
After 2 years of marriage, Renee finally requested the 'engagement ring' to match the wedding band i made back in 2007.
This ring has been 3 years in the making and with such beautiful clients as Renee and Kriss, the design was the result of patience for all the elements to come together (and for me to finally return to my bench). I have always enjoyed making jewellery for this couple as they have such appreciation for nature that I can design with immense creative freedom.
These rings were cast from found willow branches and leaf collected from one of my many hikes in the 3 years living in Tasmania. The stone is 1.62ct Australian Sapphire set into 18ct Pd White Gold.

Love intertwined- Bronze, Sterling silver. 2007.
This was a unique commission by Rodica Titeica and Travers Murr for their good friends Tam and Darren Middleton (yes, from Powderfinger).
They requested a sculpture representing the couple's long relationship intertwinnig and coming together as one. At the tip of the branch, a new beginning has flourished. There are two leaves representing their children.
The elements which make up this commission were found on a bush walk with Rodica and Travers New Years Day after a fun NYE evening with shared all together.

Drew and Annie Burns- 9ct white gold. 2007.
Annie's ring has 4 rubies, 2 spinnels set in 9ct White Gold. The Wedding ring sits into the engaement ring.
Drew's ring is inspired by the idea of two rings that curve down in the centre which links them. Representative of the special two that have joined in union.

8 lines that bind - 18ct white gold. 2007.
This ring was inspired by Matt and Amanda's beautiful story . They have been together for 8 years before they decided to commit to an endless bind.
To quote Amanda and Matt..
"A shoe store girl meets coffee shop boy and the rest is history"

Sunshine - 18ct white gold, ceylene sapphire. 2006.
This ring was created in secret with Matt for his fiance, Amanda. This ring was 2 years in the making. The concept for this ring was to compliment Amanda's sunny, bubbley spirit. |
